Patricia Cavalier - Donating Time to the Community

Patricia Cavalier
Patricia Cavalier gives back to her community in any way that she can. She volunteers at Central DuPage Hospital, and gives her time to Our Lady of Mount Carme Church. She hopes to head the human resources department of an organization that aids the community as well. It is important to support local charities and help those who are in need.

One of the best ways to give back to the community is to donate your time. In any city or community there are dozens of charitable organizations, which are looking for volunteers. Educational programs are especially in need of patient people, who are able to tutor young children. Or, if you are interested in helping the sick and injured, you can donate your time to a local hospital. These volunteer hours usually include visiting the ill, and delivering flowers.

Another great option is spending an afternoon at a local soup kitchen. You can help feed those who are less fortunate. There are many things you can do for people in need. There are several organizations that donate clothing to homeless shelters, and deliver food to underprivileged families. These organizations are vital to the survival of many people. They are regularly understaffed and looking for volunteers. Working with these organizations is a great way to be involved with your community, and meet people of all walks of life.

Patricia Cavalier is a regular volunteer and does everything she can to support her community. She deeply cares for others and wants to help improve people’s lives.
